ルワンダ到着！

ようやくアフリカに着きました。

ルワンダです！🇷🇼

アフリカ行きたい！

ずっとそう思っていたので、ついに来れて感動しています。

昨日着いた時間はもう外が暗かったので、今朝、張り切って出掛けようとしました。

が…

ホテルのフロントでバスターミナルの場所を聞くと、

「あー、今日はお掃除の日だからね、11時くらいにならないとバス乗れないよ！」

お掃除の日ってなに？！って思いましたが

毎月最終土曜日はお掃除の日で、午前中はみんなお掃除するので、お店とか観光地もほとんど閉まってるということみたいです。

そんなの知らなかったーと思いつつ、とりあえずホテルの周りを歩いてみようと思いました。

歩いていると、外国人が少なく目立つようで、行き交う人々にすごく見られます。

フレンドリーな人は多いみたいです。

Hello! How are you?って声かけてくれる人がたくさんいました。

子供にはチョコレートやお金をせがまれました。そうなるだろうとは思っていたので、早速きたなーと思いつつ、子供にさよならします。

そして、お店は本当に全部閉まってるし、道路とかを掃除してる人がたくさんいました。

…ということで、ルワンダに行こうかなぁと思っている方は、毎月最終土曜日はお掃除の日ということを覚えておくといいかもしれません。

あとは、ルワンダまでどうやって行くのか。

札幌→成田

成田→香港

香港→アディスアベバ(エチオピア)

アディスアベバ→ナイロビ(ケニア)

ナイロビ→ブジュンブラ(ブルンジ)

ブジュンブラ→キガリ(ルワンダ)

これは、私のルワンダまでの経路です。

5回乗り継ぎをし、約40時間かけて辿り着きました。

もともとの目的地がケニアだということと、安い航空券を求めた結果こうなったのですが、なかなか疲れました。笑

なので、ここまで乗り継がなくてもルワンダへは行けます！

(※ちなみに、私が購入した航空券は成田⇄ナイロビ約10万円、ナイロビ⇄キガリ約3万円。)

羽田→シンガポール

シンガポール→アディスアベバ

アディスアベバ→キガリ

復路も乗り継ぎ2回で、134060円。(skyscannerで出発7/4、現地出発7/6で検索。)

最後に、ルワンダの基本情報をざっくですが載せておきます。

ルワンダ共和国🇷🇼

アフリカ大陸の中央に位置していて、アフリカで最も人口密度が高い国です。約20年前のジェノサイド(大量虐殺)の悲しい過去を抱えつつ、近年目覚ましい発展を遂げています。

「千の丘の国」と呼ばれるルワンダの象徴的な風景が広がる首都キガリから、約2時間のドライブで、野菜のマウンテンゴリラに出会える国立公園に行けます。

面積約2.63万㎢ (四国と同じくらい)
人口約1161万人
首都キガリ
言語英語(公用語)、ルワンダ語、フランス語

Finally, I have arrived at Rwanda yesterday.

It took a long time to get there from Japan, but I am so happy now because one of my dreams came true!

Yesterday, when I arrived hotel, it was night and I didn't want to go outside at night. So in this morning, I got up early to visit many places.
But I was surprised because...
I asked front at the hotel where the bus terminal was, woman said
" Well, today is a cleaning day. So buses doesn't work now. You can ride a bus after 11 o'clock."
I didn't know that but it seemed that the last Suturday every month was "cleaning day". So in the morning on this day, people clean house and loads. Almost all the shops and sightseeing spots closed on this time.

So I just worked around the hotel.
There are few foreigners so many people watched me.
Many people looked friendly.
They spoke to me " Hello! How are you?"
Children said to me " Give me chocolate."or " Give me money"...I expected such a situation. So I thought " It is as I thought " I said good bye to children.

And as women said, I couldn't find the shops which opened and many people cleaned.

Anyway, if you want to visit Rwanda, please remember 'every month, the last Saturday is a cleaning day.'

Surprisingly, I transferred five times...

But we can visit Rwanda easier. The reason I transferred so many times was that I wanted to reduce costs and the final destination is Kenya.

Finally, I'd like to introduce Rwanda very shortly.

Republic of Rwanda 🇷🇼

Rwanda placed at almost center at Africa and it has the biggest population in Africa. About twenty years ago, sadly genocide happened and many people died. But recently economic growth is dramatic. When drive two hours from capital city, we can see mountain gorillas at the national park.
