いよいよ明日！

ついに明日、日本からアフリカ大陸へと飛び立ちます！
まだまだだと思っていたのに、気付けば明日…
未だに、自分がアフリカにいる姿をあまり想像できません。
海外一人も、長期滞在も、アフリカも初めてで、スワヒリ語はもちろん英語もろくに話せないので不安もあります。
でも、
まだ行ったことのない土地に行けて
まだ出会ったことのない人に出会えて
まだ経験したことない事を経験できて…
そう考えると、本当にワクワクします！
楽しみです！！！
3ヶ月後、帰国した時、自分がどう変わっているんだろうと楽しみです。
私が3ヶ月間滞在するケニアの情報をざっとまとめたので、良かったら読んで下さい。
Finally, I will depart for Japan to Africa tomorrow!
I thought I had still time but time flies. Tomorrow!
Still I can not imagine I will be in Africa.
It will be the first time for me to visit foreign countries by myself, stay for a long term and visit Africa. Moreover, I can not speak Swahili language and English well. So I am little nervous now.
However,
to visit places where I haven't been,
to meet people who I haven't met,
to experience what I haven't experienced...
When I imagine such like this, I am so excited!
I can't wait!
I am looking forward to how I will change after three months.
I want to introduce you to Kenya, where I will stay three months, briefly. So I am glad if you read below.
🇰🇪 ケニア共和国 🇰🇪
まずは皆さん、ケニアがどこにあるかご存知でしょうか。
東アフリカに位置し、ソマリア、エチオピア、南スーダン、ウガンダ、タンザニアと国境を接しています。
また、東側はインド洋に面し、西側はアフリカ大陸最大の湖であるビクトリア湖に面しています。
- 面積 約58.2646万㎢ (日本の約1.5倍)
- 人口 約4605万人
- 首都 ナイロビ
- 言語 国語はスワヒリ語、公用語は英語。そのほか42の部族語が話されている。
- 民族構成 キクユ族、ルオ族、カンバ族、マサイ族など42部族
- 宗教 キリスト教(プロテスタント)、キリスト教(カトリック)イスラム教、伝統宗教など
英国の植民地時代にナイロビが英国領東アフリカの中心都市とされて以来、東アフリカの政治経済の中心的役割を果たしてきました。最近の発展は目覚しいですが、すぐ隣に国立公園が存在し、ビル群をバックに野生動物たちが悠然と歩く姿をナイロビでは見ることが出来ます。
日本との時差は6時間です。
日本から直行便はなく、乗り継ぎが必要で、総飛行時間は17時間40分〜。
ちなみに、ブログの名前にもしてある"Jambo!" (ジャンボ)は、スワヒリ語で「こんにちは」の意味です。

First of all, do you know where Kenya is?
Kenya is placed in East Africa. Kenya border Somalia,Ethiopia, South Sudan, Uganda and Tanzania. East side border Indian Ocean, west side border Lake Victoria, which is the latest lake in Africa.
- Size about 58.2646㎢
- Population about 46.05 million people
- The capital Nairobi
- Language National language is Swahili, official language is English and 42 ethnic language are spoken.
When Englands' colonial period, Nairobi was the center of East African politics and economics. And recently, Kenya is growing remarkably. On the other hand, there is a national park nearby city in Nairobi. In Masai Mara National Park, there are various animals both herbivore and carnivores.
By the way, "Jambo" means "Hello" in Swahili language. ( But I have heard that it isn't common greeting phrase in Kenyan people. It's for only foreigners...)
