女子旅①アブダビ

こんにちは！
久々の更新です。
現在私は、キプロスにいます。
「キプロスどこ〜」って感じだと思いますが、キプロスの話は今度にして、今日はトランジットで寄ったアブダビを紹介します。
成田→アブダビ、エティハド航空で11時間のフライトでした。成田を18時前に出発して、現地時間0:30に到着です。
次のイスタンブール行きのフライトまで8時間以上あったので、夜中ですが少しだけ外に行ってみました。
4時過ぎまでは空港のカフェで過ごし、それから外に行きました。
夜明け前にもかかわらず、外はとても蒸し暑かったです。
Hello everyone!
Long time no see.
Now I’m in Cyprus.
Maybe not a few people don’t know where Cyprus is. But first, today I will share my short stay in Abu Dhabi as a transfer.
We left Tokyo to Abu Dhabi. The flight took about 11 hours. We left Tokyo before 6pm then we arrived Abu Dhabi around 0am.
We have over 8 hours until next flight to Istanbul. So we spent a few hours at the cafe at the airport then we went out a little although it was midnight.
It was midnight but outside was so hot and humid.
シェイク・ザイード・グランド・モスクです。
バスで行きたかったのですが、夜中はバスがなさそうだったのでタクシーで行きました。
あいにく、朝9時以降しか入ることができないそうで、外からしか見ることができませんでした。
それでも一瞬でしたが、夜明け前の薄暗い雰囲気とモスクはとても綺麗でした！
"アラジン"が出てきそうでした。
This is “Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque”. We wanted to go by bus but it seemed there were no buses at midnight so we went by taxi.
Unfortunatly we could enter mosque after 9am. So we couldn’t enter there because it was too early.
It was really beautiful with atmosphere of before sunrise although I saw it at a glance.
It reminded me “Aladin”.
街の中心部です。
高いビルが並んでいますが、さすがに朝の5時頃は静かでした。
It is a city center.
There were many tall buildings but it was around 5 am so street was quiet.
朝焼けを見て空港に戻りました。
We saw sunrise then backed to the airport.
ほんの一瞬のアブダビでしたが、感じたことは、まず物価は高めですね。日本と同じか、それ以上のイメージだと思います。
あとは、色々な国から出稼ぎに来ている人がたくさんいるようです。タクシーのおじさんは、たしかパキスタンの人でした。
タクシーのおじさん曰く、パキスタン、バングラデシュ、インドなど様々な国の人が来ているようで、ここはビジネスの街だなという感じがしました。
正直、夜中はそんなに出来ることがないですが、モスクは見る価値もあるかなと思います。
空港には24時間開いているレストランなどもあるので、空港内でも快適に時間は過ごせると思います。
それでは、私はこれからアテネへ向かいます！

It was really short stay. But first I felt cost was not so cheap in Abu Dhabi. I thought it was same as Japan or more expensive than Japan.
Another things was that it seemed there were many foreigners come there to work. Taxi driver we met was might Pakistanis. He said there were many people from various countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh, India and etc worked in Abu Dhabi. It seemed really “business town”.
Actually there are not so many things we can do during midnight. But if you have a chance to visit Abu Dhabi, I recommend you visit mosques. It was worth to visit I think.
But of course you can stay at the airport during midnight. There were some restaurants open 24 hours and you can use free WiFi so you can stay at the airport comfortably.
Now I’ going Athens.
